Doctor of Medicine and Surgery, Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB). She specialised in Pathological Anatomy at Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau.

She has been a consulting physician with the Papilloma Laboratory in the Infections and Cancer Unit of the Epidemiology Service at the Catalan Institute of Oncology (ICO) since 2007 and has been head of the Pathological Anatomy Unit at the Vic Hospital Consortium since 2020.

She has helped draft the Catalan Cervical Cancer Screening Programme (2006) and several related papers. Since 2023, she has been head of the Biobank at the Institute for Research and Innovation in Life and Health Sciences in Central Catalonia (IRIS-CC).

She is a member of the Spanish Society of Pathological Anatomy (SEAP) and the Catalan Society of Pathological Anatomy (SCAP).
